SIKA Group Holdings (“SIKA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information when you visit sikagroup.co.za, contact us, submit a form, book an appointment, subscribe to communications, use the compliance-verification facility or otherwise interact with our public website.
This policy is intended to support compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and other applicable South African law.

3. Current Scope
CURRENT POSITION The online Cannabis Compliance Course and PayFast payment checkout are not currently available. SIKA does not currently collect course-payment or learner-progress information through this website. This policy will be updated before those features are activated.
4. Personal Information We Collect
Identity and contact details, including your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and job title where supplied.
Enquiry and service details, including the service you are interested in, your message, requested appointment and correspondence with us.
Compliance-verification information, including a compliance serial number submitted for verification and the result returned.
Newsletter information, including your email address, subscription status, consent record and unsubscribe history.
Account information if you use an enabled website account feature, including username, login and security records.
Technical and usage information, including IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referral information, security logs and cookie identifiers.
5. How We Collect Information
directly from you when you submit a form, make a booking, subscribe, contact us or enter a verification number;
automatically through the website, hosting systems, security logs, cookies and similar technologies; and
from service providers where they deliver a website, communication, security or booking function on our behalf.
6. Why We Process Information
We process personal information where necessary to respond to a request, take steps toward or perform an agreement, comply with law, protect a legitimate interest, pursue our or a third party’s legitimate interests, or where valid consent has been given. We use information to:
respond to enquiries and provide information about SIKA services;
schedule and manage appointments;
operate the compliance-verification facility;
send requested newsletters and manage marketing preferences;
protect the website, prevent fraud and investigate misuse;
maintain business, contractual, security and compliance records; and
understand and improve website performance and user experience using proportionate analytics.
7. Forms, Bookings and Newsletter
Website forms may be delivered using WordPress and WPForms. Appointment bookings may be administered through Amelia. Newsletter subscriptions and related communications may be administered through Brevo. Google reCAPTCHA may be used to reduce spam and abuse. These providers process limited information required to deliver their functions and may apply their own privacy terms.
Newsletter subscription is voluntary. You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Service or appointment messages are operational communications and may still be sent where necessary to respond to you.
8. Service Providers and Disclosures
We may share personal information where reasonably necessary with website hosting, Cloudflare security and content-delivery services, WordPress and website-support providers, WPForms, Amelia, Brevo, Google reCAPTCHA, professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies. We do not sell personal information.
A service provider acting for SIKA must process information under appropriate confidentiality, security and data-protection arrangements. A third party acting for its own purposes is responsible for its independent processing.
9. Cross-Border Processing
Some providers may store or process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate POPIA basis and level of protection apply.
10. Security and Security Compromises
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to prevent loss, unauthorised access, interference, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No internet service is completely secure. If a reportable security compromise occurs, we will take appropriate steps and notify the Information Regulator and affected persons where required by POPIA.
11. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose and to meet legal, tax, accounting, contractual, audit, security and dispute-resolution requirements. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, destroyed or de-identified appropriately, unless retention is permitted or required by law.
12. Your Rights
ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access;
request correction or deletion of information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or unlawfully obtained;
object to processing on grounds recognised by POPIA;
withdraw consent where processing depends on consent;
object to direct marketing and unsubscribe; and
complain to SIKA or the Information Regulator.
We may verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records must or may lawfully be retained despite a deletion request.
13. Children
The website and services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly process a child’s personal information without the authorisation or other lawful basis required by POPIA.
14. External Links
The website may link to independent third-party websites. Their privacy practices and content are governed by their own notices and terms.
15. Changes and Complaints
We may update this policy when our website, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to INFO@SIKAGROUP.CO.ZA. Complaints may also be submitted to the Information Regulator at https://inforegulator.org.za/complaints/
